This position is responsible for oversight and assistance in daily cash management activities for EMEA and APJ as it relates to management of banking relationships and systems, third party and/ or intercompany transactions, and the administration of the EMEA / APJ investment portfolio. Will assist with foreign exchange transaction needed to complete transactions. Also, ensuring that we are adhering to policy in all areas - specifically in regard to accounting, bank account compliance, documentation, and signer maintenance; counterparty risk limits; and investment management.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll help support CA Technologies charter to transform the IT industry.  You will responsible to:

  • Responsible for CA’s international cash management process and structure, providing the entities/company with the requisite liquidity and flows to meet operating needs.
  • Assist with development and execution of strategies for protecting monetary assets of company.
  • Will work closely with tax and corporate accounting teams to manage intercompany flows, including royalties, dividends and inter-company loans.
  • Manage subsidiary funding process and capitalization requests. 
  • Develop forecast of international excess cash allowing for proper allocation and laddering of investments.
  • Liaise with banking partners to offer solutions to our business units and shared service centers that increase overall working capital efficiency.
  • Act as a valued business partner supporting new business models, acquisitions, and providing proactive counsel on Treasury related items.
  • Interface with Corporate Finance/Accounting on areas related to investment and cash accounting and reporting.
  • Manage process around internal audit and SOX, both recurring deliverables and special requests.
  • Potential to manage team, driving toward group and larger organization goals

How You’ll Stand Out:

The perfect candidate for this role will have a demonstrated record of success in positions of increasing responsibility over the course of their career. She/he will have an outstanding track record and reputation for being proactive, assertive and detail oriented. An ideal background will include:

 

  • Business travel of approximately 10 or less percent yearly is expected for this position.
  • Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
  • Typically, 7 years of experience in a corporate Finance environment.  Treasury, SAP and online banking systems experience is strongly preferred. 
  • Strong Computer Skills including Microsoft Office and familiarity with Hyperion
  • Good communication skills
  • Very strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and within a team
  • Sound foundation in basic finance/accounting principles
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact with internal clients and external vendors
  • Self-starter.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Highly dependable and organized with focus on meeting Treasury deadlines while working with time constraints
