In the Vice President, Global Digital Brand role, you will have the opportunity to drive CA’s values and messaging to enable us to dominate in the marketplace. What You’ll Do

The VP Global Digital Brand is responsible for reimaging our business through radical digital customer centricity. With expertise on emerging technologies and new user journeys, this leader will recommend, incubate and operationalize new capabilities in technology that advance how CA engages customers and meets business needs in a BtoBtoC landscape. The candidate will drive a “digital first” marketing model aligning customer segmentation, data, platforms, analytics and people and process to an end to end digital ecosystem. They will provide strategic data driven insights and lead the development of breakthrough creative campaigns, across digital, social, media, web, content, search and technology platforms.

  • An expert in “Sociographics”; the area that helps you truly know customer behavior. It includes the characteristics that influence the way people perceive and receive your brand’s messages—they have a large impact on how your market behaves socially. The future of customer experience focuses more on the services wrapped around the product than the product itself. Those services impact the customer’s perception of your brand.
  • A growth officer that combines global marketing, customer and commercial leadership strategy to understand emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence and the opportunities and challenges these technologies pose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience Strategy - Articulate, evangelize and execute a bold, consistent, and clear vision for CA’s digital presence, ensuring superior user experience for customers, partners, and employees across the full marketing mix.

 

  •  Operate as the primary business owner for the online and mobile customer site experiences, while leading innovation through cross-functional teams to design, build, personalize, and optimize features, technologies, and expand digital channels.

 

  • Digital Marketing -. Works closely with business intelligence and analytics team on development of customer segmentation and predictive models to optimize customer journey and digital touch points. Drive, creative, media, and UX strategy for web, apps, search, social and mobile to drive awareness, engagement, lead generation and conversion.

 

  • Digital Footprint- Collaborate with C-level leadership, data insights, marketing and IT teams to define functional and nonfunctional requirements to enhance the digital customer experience across all stages of key customer journeys as defined by the business. Connects customers and prospects to a unified brand experiences rich in personalization, across virtual, physical, and online journeys.

 

  • Manages agency roster and relationships for digital and media partners

 

  • Partners with service and support to develop the right additional customer-facing digital channels to achieve improved integrated customer digital experience and reduce overall customer effort

 

  • Content Governance and Partnerships – Define the baseline for app and web content best practices, operations and editorial governance. Educate content owners and campaign owners internally so they are fluent and can adhere to governance and guidelines to ensure connected visible data, actions and outcomes while delivering consistent user experience across CA digital properties. Optimize third-party content partnerships to maximize referral traffic and user acquisition.

 

  • SEM - Grow search engine marketing through both operational optimizations as well as creating new revenue opportunities and channels to drive conversions and direct sales.

 

Minimum Requirements / Skills 

  • 12 years minimum experience in a technology, agency, or digital first environment. 
  • Experienced in user acquisition and corporate marketing. Agency experience desired.
  • Strong in vision, ideas and executions. Prior experience in a matrixed, goal oriented environment.
  • History of innovation in online B2B or BtoC marketing.
  • Experience using demand generation tools and techniques, including marketing automation software and CRM systems.
  • Ability to cultivate productive working relationships with internal stakeholders and business partners.
  • Personality that is leadership-driven, goal-focused, self-motivated, creative, flexible and adaptable to new situations.
  • Strong creative and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Strong people leadership experience managing large teams or direct reports with a demonstrated record of recruiting, retaining and training top talent. 
  • Strong strategic and creative thinker
  • Experience in Brand, marketing programs/content through social channels and understanding of how to build large scale, global digital brand and social programs

  • Innovate with new media marketing tactics; social, digital, CRM and direct response.
  • Establish and enhance direct to consumer marketing strategy across channels.
  • Proficiency managing external relationships and agencies.
  • Build strong partnerships and establish credibility with the internal team, based upon a demonstrated collaborative approach, leadership skills and experience.
  • Anticipate and implement necessary changes to strategy and execution process to support the company’s expansion both geographically and through new marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Create, manage and refine marketing communications metrics to advise the CMO and the Digital Market executive team on data-driven decisions regarding measurements of brand awareness, PR and social share of voice, and other key data sets to measure the health of our programs Business travel of approximately 25 percent yearly is expected for this position.
  • Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent in Marketing, Computer Science, a business discipline or a related field.  Master's degree or global equivalent is preferred.
